Bringing more than 30 years of production experience, Ateş Orga was originally with the BBC Music Division under Sir William Glock. He has produced the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic, London Philharmonic, Philharmonia and Prague Symphony Orchestra, working with conductors including Vladimir Ashkenazy, Sir Alexander Gibson, Sir Charles Groves, Sir Charles Mackerras, Alexander Lazarev and Louis Fremaux. Among the solo artists and ensembles he has directed may be mentioned Martyn Hill, Patricia Rozario, Nikolai Demidenko, Raphael Wallfisch, Piers Lane and Marc-André Hamelin, the Medici and Alberni String Quartets, and Trio Zingara.

Released internationally on the Warner Classics, BMG, ASV, JVC, Collins, Hyperion and Naxos labels, his recordings have garnered in recent years the French Diapason d’Or, Edison Prize, Classic CD Concerto Award and Penguin Rosette, as well as innumerable BBC Critic Choice recommendations and Gramohone Award nominations. He received a Royal Philharmonic Society Music Award in 1993.
